 Attaching two overview screenshots (uploaded in GRASS-Wiki, links below)
 with all "sharpen= ihs, brovey, pca" methods in 11-bit IKONOS DNs, and
 double precision both Radiance and Reflectance values. (Unfortunately,
 it's not possible to draw d.rgb directly in a d.frame.split-ed d.mon, thus
 I created composites)


 None of them appears ok to me.  Even more, NULL cells have been
 introduced.

 Working with rescaled 8-bit versions, produced, so far for me, nice
 outputs.
