Comment:

 suggestion: for 6.4.4 let's consider packaging r.in.wms2.py in with
 gui/scripts/, and have it as the menu item from the wxGUI. the shell
 version can still be there from the command line, but I don't see it
 getting much more than maintenance fixes at this point.

 I know the wheel is already invented a number of times, but I'd also
 suggest to try and make more use of OWSLib, to outsource the OGC protocol
 stuff to an existing library/team.

 todo: test current state of r.in.wms(.sh) in grass6 after the script-
 called-from-a-script patches have been applied (#1727).
