Comment:

 I tried with toda's binary snapshot: r56138 solved it for 6.4.3svn and
 brought the startup back. The dosbox is minimized as desired.

 Minor (new?) issue: The wxGUI start window should come to top, but it
 hides behind this trac browser windows when starting.
