 Note that g.gui.psmap is an incomplete graphical frontend to ps.map. The
 module offers many more options.

 legend for that, there's no way to do it (unless you convert the vector
 map to a raster map, which was what I had to do)...

 Not sure I understand exactly what you mean by "legends representing
 different categories", but you can check out these

 scripts], notably the 'label' option in the 'varea' definitions.
