[GRASS-dev] Python Higher Level Libs

Dear All,


I'd like to pitch the idea for the creation of higher level modules
for easier access to raster characterists.

The module could be used for standarazation of python scripts and
enabling users to rapid protorype their ideas.

I think the underling infrastructure is there for the creating at
least a very simple prototype.


I'd like to hear your views on the subject
