[GRASS-dev] why java SE runtime is needed to run GRASS in Mac?

Just trying to run GRASS in Mac:

MacBook:~ yann$ LC_ALL=en_GB.UTF-8 '/Applications/GRASS/GRASS-7.1.app/Contents/MacOS/grass.sh'

Python 2.7.8 found.

Starting GRASS GIS...
No Java runtime present, requesting install.
ERROR: Invalid return code from GUI startup script.
Please advise GRASS developers of this error.

Any reason?
