update:
r.bitpattern moved to Addons in r62568.
Rationale: r.mapcalc and i.modis.qa provide the same functionality.
And in future we may introduce a r.bitpattern python script as a
conventient wrapper to &&& and ||| of r.mapcalc and do not decide
about the user interface right now.

At this point the "Dead code cleanup" is almost done, at least the urgent parts.
