New description:

 []In the manuals of v.rast.stats it is written that the module is made for
 vector polygon maps, but it also works nicely with lines.

 Please find attached a proposal for updating manual in all GRASS versions
 (6.4, 7.0 and 7.1) in order to clarify, that also lines are suitable for
 the module.

 Additionally, the manual for 7.1 has not been updated to the latest
 changes (no more "-e" flag, new "method" parameter, "colprefix" renamed to
 "column_prefix"). I tried to incorporate those changes in the attached
 diff for GRASS 7.1.

 Hope you find the proposed changes appropriate...

 Updated in r61962 (trunk) and r61963 (relbr7). And in r61964 and r61965
 for G6.4 and G6.5.
