 as mentioned in ticket #3127, GDAL WMTS driver is not yet implemented in
 r.in.wms.

 WMTS -- OGC Web Map Tile Service is available since GDAL 2.1
 (http://www.gdal.org/frmt_wmts.html).

 as more and more web map services uses WMTS, this wuld be a nice
 enhancement for r.in.wms.
