BTW, anyone aware of Debian/Ubuntu packages for laz-perf?
Arch Linux seems to have one (at least in community repo)...
It does not seem part of pdal in UbuntuGIS or Debian GIS either...

Having a package would make laz-perf even more attractive and increase availability and usage of that tool quite a bit...
But maybe it is not mature enough?

 But there is las-perf, right? Are there some issues in using it and  replacing LASzip completely?
