The needed grass77 -> grass78 updates are covered in:

(hope I found all needed changes; to go ahead I have merged right away).

I have also created the cronjobs for weekly tarballs and manual pages:

What's next:

- GRASS GIS 7.8.0RC1 to be prepared asap
