 Currently, G7:d.barscale does not have support to select font (which has
 to be set from Preferences -> Map Display), nor to make background
 transparent as other map decorations.

 It would be really useful to have these options also available for the
 barscale so when making maps with the GUI one can have homogeneous
 styling.
