 Unfortunately this is not reproducible (on Linux). What do you get with
 shell-style output, i.e.

 {{{
 r.info map=Capefear_basin_CFS_area_dem05 at capefearsh -g
 }}}

 The only explanation seems to be local modifications to
 raster/r.info/main.c:L200.
