 All the additional error messages indicate that this problem can't be
 fixed inside GRASS. Since this problem occurs with different compression
 methods (ZLIB, LZ4), it's also not a problem of the compressor. It's
 probably hardware, filesystems, and/or OS having trouble with heavy disk
 IO.
