Ok. but want to create a new vector map with some points/lines drawn on it.<div>I dont need the digitizer features for that. the code to put some point on the shape files is coded inside the source. Is this possible. If yes how?</div>

</div>there is no 'vdigit' library. C module v.digit implements it's own<br>
functions using vector library. Anyway wxGUI digitizer and v.edit uses<br>
vedit library [1] which has been designed for this purpose.<br>
