But this can only display as fine as the underlying raster. If your grid cells are 1x1 km, that is the finest resolution you will see. You can increase your raster resolution through interpolation. This does not provide better data but can give you a 'smoother' view of your existing data.<br>

I'm still having the resolution issue with NVIZ (TclTk) in the 6.4.2 release (recently upgraded). I'm not sure why the resolution is so course. Can anyone help! i'm using a 5m DEM and require high detail. Should i go back to 6.3.0 or use wxNVIZ?. I would rather something stable.<br>

The improvements to wxNVIZ in trunk in the past 6 months have been so great that I'm tempted to suggest that we take it out of the GRASS 6.4.2 release. The version there is highly experimental and has quite limited functionality, whereas the TclTk version works well.<br>
