Also, let's use the home and not /tmp which is on modern systems a tmpfs directory which is in RAM only and not reboot safe.</p>

<p dir="ltr">Yes. The winGRASS installer does that already reasonably. Or, as suggested, launch latlong rather than xy etc.</p>
