The OSGeo Community Sprint 2023 will be hosted by the Big Data from<br>
Space 2023 (BiDS) event.<br>

BiDS brings together key actors from industry, academia, EU entities<br>
and government to reveal user needs, exchange ideas and showcase<br>
latest technical solutions and applications touching all aspects of<br>
space and big data technologies, providing a unique opportunity to<br>
discuss and present the most recent innovations and challenges<br>
encountered in the context of big data from space. The 2023 edition of<br>
BiDS will focus not only technologies enabling insight and foresight<br>
inferable from big data from space. Together, we want to emphasize how<br>
breakthrough space data driven technologies impact on society’s grand<br>
challenges, such as climate change and the green transition.<br>
The event, organized by the European Space Agency (ESA) together with<br>
the European Union Satellite Center (SatCen) and the Joint Research<br>
Center (JRC), will take place at the Austria Center Vienna, and counts<br>
with the support of the partners FFG, Austria in Space and the Federal<br>
Ministry Republic of Austria.<br>
