[GRASSGUI] Help For Installation of gdal

Dear sir/madam  
I have downloaded gdal source & compiled successfully (LINUX, READ
HAT 7.1). But I am not able
to link  the library to grass5. I have kept gdal in seperate directory &
compiled it . I am using grass5.0.0pre1 ( Actually it doesnot have 
gdal ) So I downloaded gdal & compiled it. Please suggest me how
to set the path and other required things .
