[GRASSGUI] separate gui

i need to make a separate tcltkgrass-like gui for a separate set of users.  it's supposed to only have menus for displaying and querying maps.  i tried making separate menu.tcl and tcltkgrass.tcl files but i can't execute them.  obviously, i really don't know what i'm doing and what i'm supposed to do.

what should i do?  thanks in advance.
