That wasn't it. It was the fact that I hadn't updated my GRASS 
installation, only the wxgrass gui, and thus I didn't have the 
profileopts icon...

So, always update your GRASS installation (or at least etc/gui/icons) 
when updating your wxgrass GUI... ;-)

Otto, could this be the reason of your problems ?
