[GRASS-PSC] GRASS add-on svn write access request

Dear GRASS-PSC,

I am writing to request write access to the add-ons/extensions repository.
Václav Petráš (CC'ed though he's undoubtedly on this list) has offered to
be my mentor/sponsor.

I will abide by RFC/2.

My OSGEO username is: awickert

Here's what I'd like to do:

I have written a model that is integrated through CSDMS (
http://csdms.colorado.edu/wiki/Main_Page) called gFlex, which computes
isostasy and flexure of the lithosphere -- for example, due to loads from
mountain belts, ice sheets, seawater, etc. I propose two GRASS GIS
extensions:

r.flexure
v.flexure

This depends on if the loads are given as points or as a raster array.
r.flexure is complete right now and further allows lateral variations in
the elastic thickness of the Earth's lithosphere (e.g., to simulate hot
spots, fault zones, and use real maps of lithospheric strength). v.flexure
is what I am working on at the moment. My source code is on github (
https://github.com/awickert/gFlex).

Let me know if this is all OK and I can have access! I'd love to set this
up with GRASS GIS, and also try to convince other CSDMS-related modelers to
do so with their Earth-surface-process models.

Thanks!

Andy

PS -- A colleague and I also have a glacier model that is linked with GRASS
-- it is #3 or #4 on my current coding to-do list, so maybe a formal GRASS
GIS interface to it be done sometime within the year. See
https://github.com/awickert/IceFlow/blob/master/iceflow.py.
