Dear all,

According to the current funding estimates, we still need additional ~7000
EUR (~8000 USD) to complete the budget [1]. Newly, our event fundraising is
not separate from our general project fundraising, so the specific
Community Meeting expenses are an example of how the money is used, rather
than the only goal or ultimate target. The relationship to NumFOCUS is
described on our completely renewed Sponsoring page [2] and I think it
would be enough to just link to that (in other words, one doesn't need to
understand all the nuances of NumFOCUS to create the posts).

For anyone interested in posting from GRASS social media accounts, feel
free to contact me to discuss how to do it.
