Dear members,

FYI the election announcement is now also available as a Discussion in 
GitHub to increase visibility among the community. This move was 
discussed and agreed with Vero.

The post went into the "General" category as I do not have permissions 
to post a discussion as "announcement". Perhaps this is something you 
may change if desired.
