[GRASS translations] russian translation

Hi! I would like to donate a Russian translation. Is anyone currently working on it? If so, let's divide the work. Also, I am using poEdit to look at the existing po files I downloaded off CVS, and for some reason the cyrillic characters are not readable. What encoding is currently used for the russian po files?
