[GRASS translations] status on Italian translation

Hello Listers (ciao Markus!),

My name is Andrea Giacomelli and I write from Italy. A proud Grass 
users since 1993, even though more recently I had the occasion of doing 
more advocacy than heavy spatial analysis ;)

I am considering the possibility of supporting the translation into 
Italian, and I'd like to check from the list what is the status on this 
and how to co-ordinate with any ongoing efforts. 

I noted the statistics on the main translations web page, and did a 
quick scan of the list archives for the past year or so..however  I 
didn't note any outstanding topics re. Italian (but it's Friday 
evening). So: live feedback would be appreciated.
