d.mon - program

Hello ,

I did a installation of grass4.0 on Sun IPX machine - & have no problems.
The problem is comming when starting d.mon program - there is no monitor
on the list and what I should write for graphic monitor name ?????
I found a catalogue MONITOR - it is empty ! :-o .

Can anybody help me - maybe it is not a difficult problem.
