I am posting this question on behalf of someone who is importing a
very large number of dlg files into GRASS. He will be v.patch'ing
hundreds of the imported vector files together. My previous experience
and a note in the v.patch man page tells me that he will have to
edit his patched map to remove the lines where the edges of the
individual maps were. This would be an incredibly time consuming and
tedious task.
Does anyone know of a way of either preventing the edge lines of
the maps from being created or a way to automatically remove them?
