The xgrass is simply in alpha-test now.  It is very incomplete; much more
has been accomplished here at CERL since the alpha release was packaged.
We are looking for feedback on the looka and feel.  Sites should not expect
to utilize this alpha-xgrass in any operational sense - yet!

General use of GRASS?   For general info and use of GRASS, write directly to
mayfield at zorro.cecer.army.mil.  This is the office of GRASS info which contains
a hundred different GRASS related reports and documents.
