GENAMAP DLG format

Hi,

Does anyone have any experience with reading DLG 3 format files created
by GENAMAP using v.import and v.in.dlg. I've been trying this but 
there seems to be a problem reading the header of the file.
Another strange thing is when I create a DLG file using v.out.dlg
I get a well-readable file with columns of coordinates etc.. 
Reading the GENAMAP created DLG-files (more, cat) gives a much less-
structered output.
If anyone could help me out, i would be very grateful.
