Announcing the latest release of SG3d!

  The latest version of the SG3d  3D visualization program for Silicon
Graphics workstations has been released and is available from ftp on
moon.cecer.army.mil.  It is in directory  'SG3d'.

Features include:

  Full lighting model support
  Vector overlay
  Site overlay
  Data query capabilities similar to d.what.rast
  Interactive movement
  Graphic User Interface
  Save/Restore Viewing parameters
  Scripting

  
  For those of you that don't yet have a Silicon Graphics workstation,
we currently have a version for X Windows in the works.  Look for it
in GRASS 4.1.
