GRASS obeys the current region. r.in.sunrast makes headers for the image
that may or may not agree with the current region. Try
	g.region rast=map
	d.erase
	d.rast map
where map is the named of the raster file in GRASS produce by r.in.sunrast.
You shouldn't have to run r.support, but it wouldn't hurt to learn how
to use r.support. There is a manual entry for all the GRASS programs.
Try
	g.manual r.support | more

|Hi,
|I've been trying to convert a sunraster image into the grass format. The
|conversion seems to go ok (I'm using the 4.0 updated version of r.in.sunrast)
|but when I display the image using d.rast, the image is all white. The
|documentation for r.in.sunrast mentions using r.support, but there is no
|documentation for r.support.
|
|If anybody could tell me what step I'm missing, I would appreciate it.
|
|Thanks,
|Brian
