Problem of r.in.erdas

Greeting GRASS Netters. We are running r.in.erdas to input some image
files of Erdas 7.4 format. The r.in.erdas command can read the erdas files, 
yet the result is not right. Here is a brief output from GRASS with the 
orginal values of the Erdas file inside ():

We have looked the source codes of r.in.erdas and could not
locate the reason of this reading error. Did any netters
have similar experience before? 
Any help will be gratefullyreceived.
