I have DEM files on floppy and have been unable to read them into GRASS; I believe that the files are in proper format because I have been able to read them into a DOS-based GIS (Idrisi). I have been using m.dem.extract with no luck. I am not currently on the mailing list. Thanks for any help you may have...Celina Harshman
