new r.slope.aspect

I just tested the new version of r.slope.aspect on an elevation file. It 
has some nice new features, e.g. asking for slopes in degrees or percent.
It's also very fast. HOWEVER, I didn't get either a slope map or an
aspect map out of my elevations.
The tool must be bugged, because I always end up with -2147483647 cats
of aspect and 2147483647 cats of slope. Sounds familiar to anyone?
Please help!
