Currently I am required to provide C/UNIX programming support to modify
an interface between the software packages GRASS and ELAS, that our Terrain
Analysis Group are currently using.
 
The group has GRASS v3.0 & v4.0 (Geographical Resource Analysis Support
System), ELAS v9.0 (Earth Resources Laboratory Application System Support)
and the interface code GRELAS v1.14 Beta all with full source code on a
Silicon Graphics workstation.
 
The group have previously been using GRASS v3.0 with ELAS and have obtained
GRASS v4.0. Due to the changes that have been made in the GRASS library from
v3.0 to v4.0, the GRELAS interface code will not fully compile. At this stage
the compilation errors are within the routines to export GRASS data to ELAS
(grass_to_elas()) and ELAS data to GRASS (mk_gcoltab()) and are associated
with the changes that have been made to the GRASS colour table data structure
within the GRASS library routines.
 
I would appreciate it if anyone else using the GRASS and ELAS packages, and
have updated the GRELAS code to make use of the GRASS v4.0 library could
provide me with any information or modifiied source files that would enable
me to make the appropriate modifications to the interface code.
