PC/Unix platform for GRASS!

	GRASS is currently runs on Interactive, SCO, and (so the reports
say) linux.  Spectrum Sciences & Software (a GRASS distributor) can supply you
the Interactive OS, and the port of GRASS which runs on it.

	The only real constraint is that currently, the Interactive OS does
NOT support IDE drives, and like most of the newer UNIX systems, prefers to
have SCSI drives on a WD or Adaptec controller.  Most video controllers are
supported, and most QIC-150 tape drives (SCSI).  Like all versions of UNIX,
the more RAM and hard disk, the better, but you can run Interactive on as
little as 4 Mb RAM and a 50Mb hard drive, but to run GRASS also, you will
need at least a 150 Mb drive, and for all practical purposes, at least 8Mb
RAM.
	I can't give any hardware configurations for SCO, but there are
several GRASS users that I'm aware of who can give you details.
