How to create ppm-files of a p.map-ouput ?

Here we use the ppm driver to create ppm output. This output
is converted to pgm by a program called ppmtopgm. A program
called pgmtops is used to convert this format to postscript.

pgmtops and ppmtopgm are available on different anonymous ftp
sites. Try using 'archie' to find them.
