1. You need to force all of your data into one UTM zone, preferably the
zone that the majority of your data is in!
2. If you select the zone to the east, you might end up with negative
coordinates for your points on the far west side of your study site.
3. If your study area is very wide in the east-west direction, you might
run into some scale distortions in the areas that are the farthest away
from the intersection of the UTM zones! This distortion is dependant
on which zone you choose.
