Calcomp 9500 soft switch settings?

Grass folks,

I'm trying to run v.digit (the standard 4.0 release)
using a Calcomp 9500 series tablet. Does anyone happen to know 
what the soft switch settings should be on the tablet so that
this will work, or how I can figure out what the settings should be?

Any hints would be most appreciated...
