Problems with starting monitors

The two things that you need to do are:

Make sure you add RISC as an xhost on DEC Station. i.e. on DEC type
xhost +YOUR_RISC_HOST_NAME

In c-shell you can set the DISPLAY variable on RISC before running grass i.e. on RISC type
setenv DISPLAY  YOUR_DEC_HOST_NAME:0.0
Then invoke grass on RISC.
