Desqview X currently does not support resolutions higher than VGA for the S3
chip.  If you already have a copy of the software, they have included a file
detailing the chips and modes supported (actually they will support 800x600
for the S3 but only in 16 color mode).  If you don't have it yet, return mail
to me and I will try to find the file.
