xxx.jdw ??

GRASSuser's,

We have been fairly successful in compiling GRASS4.1 on a SPARClassic
running Solaris2.2 (only 6 src & src.alpha programs do not compile), and
on an SPARC IPX running Solaris1.x (all src & src.alpha compiles).
The source code has the UPDATES included; I am using GNU gcc 2.4.5 as
the compiler.

For BOTH compilations, when starting a graphics window with d.mon,
XDRIVER produces graphics screens with "NO NAME" as the title. Is there
something in the code that I can change so that a 'real' title (i.e. x0)
will appear on the graphics window? Looking throught the archives, someone
who had compiled GRASS4.O for an RS6000 mentioned that they had a similar
problem, and it was fixed by:

"copy Graph.Set.jdw to Graph_set.c"
and adding the line
" XStoreNAme(dpy,grwin,WIN_NAME)
	after line 187 (between #ifdef X11R3 and #else)".

But there is NO Graph.Set.jdw in src/display/devices/XDRIVER/XDRIVER !!
And there is NO similar text structure near or around line 187 of the
existing Graph_set.c !!

There are *.jdw files located at:

./XDRIVER/XDRIVER/SAVE/Clr_table.jdw
./XDRIVER/OKI/XDRIVER.OKI/XDRIVER/Clr_table.jdw
./XDRIVER/OKI/XDRIVER.OKI/XDRIVER/Graph_Set.jdw
./XDRIVER/OKI/XDRIVER4/XDRIVER/Clr_table.jdw
./XDRIVER/OKI/XDRIVER4/XDRIVER/Graph_Set.jdw

Is any one of these the Graph.Set.jdw in question?? Does "copy to" mean
write over the existing Graph_Set.c ??

The "NO NAME" graphics windows work alright, but if they are closed
manually instead of through GRASS's "d.mon", they close with an
ugly "Fatal error ....pipe broken" type of error. This is not
unlike the first GRASS4.0 XDRIVER before it got fixed. Any ideas
as to what is happening?? Is this error message something that
can be ignored, or is there a fix that can be applied?

Thanks for any help offered!!
