m.lulc.read and m.lulc.USGS

This is a request for help with regard to m.lulc.read and m.lulc.USGS.
For some unknown reason, there isn't a manual entry in my version of
grass and I have been unable to get the command syntax right.

I would be very grateful if a grass user could supply syntax.
