Help! No PERMANENT mapset

...This is VERY strange.
Just on the opening screen you must type the name of the location you want to
create (overwriting "spearfish"). 
Typing ESC should bring you to the subroutine in which you are asked for
all the parameters needed to define the new location...
It should be easy.
