Subject: HELP


Hi,
I am having trouble using m.dem.extract to extract data from a DEM file.  I 
have obtained the updated version of m.dem.extract from /grass/grass4.0/
updates/src/misc but it don't work well.
As suggest I have removed CR and LF from dem file but the result is the same.


If I examine the file with m.dem.examine the ouput is:

I have token the dem file from spectrum.xerox.com.

Where I'm wrong?
Can you send me some informations about dem format, which informations conteins Header and so on?
