s.in.ascii thanks

I used the awk script(s):

awk '{printf "%s %s #%s\n", $1, $2, $3}' awktest.in | s.in.ascii sites=awktest.
out input=awktest.in

and it worked beautifully.  When you run the awktest.out file thru s.menu
(options 1 and 6) a raster map is produced.
