CD-4.1 & 3D-4.0 questions

This is true that the process of saving images from SG3d was difficult in 
release 4.0, but when you get 4.1, you'll notice that an "Image Dump"
button has been added (it still saves images in SGI's rgb format, so you
may still need to use pbm-tools if you want it in a different format).
Also in 4.1, SG3d has keyframe animation capabilities with a "run and save 
images" option.  With this option, the animation may be played back using
SGI's "movie" program, which simply loads saved window dumps and plays
them back rapidly.  If you haven't checked out the SGI programs "ipaste",
"izoom", "movie", and "showcase" already, I would encourage you to do so
if you plan to work much with your images in rgb format.
