Who is now on charge of the GRASS directory? mail to brook at zorro.cecer.army.mil
fails because "user unknown".

The address that you are using is incorrect.  The name is brooks, not brook.

There is now a bit of a shorter address that will also work.  If
you wish to be added to the GRASS directory that is published monthly
via this forum, please send mail to brooks at cecer.army.mil and you 
will be added.
