No subject

Sorry if this is a FAQ but can someone tell me what the latest version of PC-ARC Info is. Silly I know but I've recently been given a copy,on site licence,by my University and it is ver 3.1 whereas I
notice everyone else is up to ver 6+.
What am I missing in terms of features (or are there too many to mention?).
Any advice or contact points would be of great help.
